Shah Rukh Khan Early Life
Shah Rukh Khan was born on November 2, 1965, in New Delhi, India. His father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, was an entrepreneur and his mother, Lateef Fatima, was a social worker. His parents were from Peshawar, British India (now in Pakistan). He has three sisters.
Khan attended St. Columba’s School in central Delhi, where he excelled in his studies and sports. He played cricket and football for his school team. He developed a love for acting while still in college and decided to pursue it as a career. After graduating from Hansraj College with a degree in economics, he enrolled at Delhi’s National School of Drama to study theater.

Khan made his acting debut in the television series “Fauji” (1988), in which he played the role of a young army officer. The show was a huge success and launched Khan’s career. He went on to star in several TV shows, including “Circus” (1989) and “Banegi Apni Baat” (1993). He made his film debut with the action movie “Deewana” (1992). The film was a blockbuster hit and established Khan as a leading actor in Bollywood.
Khan has starred in more than 80 Hindi films. Some of his most notable films include “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” (1995), “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” (1998), “Mohabbatein” (2000), “Kal Ho Naa Ho” (2003), “Veer-Zaara” (2004), “Chak De! India” (2007), and “My Name Is Khan” (2010). He has won numerous awards, including 14 Filmfare Awards.
Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most successful actors in the history of Indian cinema. He has achieved massive popularity not only in India but also in other parts of the world, particularly in East Asia and the Middle East. He is often referred to as the “King of Bollywood” or “King Khan”.
Private Life
Khan is also known for his philanthropic work. He has worked with various charities and social organizations to raise awareness about important issues such as HIV/AIDS, children’s education, and disaster relief. In 2005, he was awarded the Padma Shri, one of India’s highest civilian honors, for his contributions to Indian cinema.
Khan is married to Gauri Khan, with whom he has two children, Aryan and Suhana. The family lives in Mumbai, India.
