You probably heard of him. But not by Chan Kong-sang. His Hollywood name Is Jackie Chan. One of Asia’s most famous actors. He is most loved for his funny personality and his talent in martial arts. Slapstick is Jackie’s expertise. Slapstick is a term for when a person Is doing comedy with physical activity. Chan Kong-sang is an all-around performer. He also sings beautifully. Jackie Chan is a Hong Kong actor, producer and martial artist who has been in the entertainment industry for more than five decades. His skills as both an entertainer and fitness trainer have made him Asia’s most famous star; loved by many for his funny personality as well as being talented at stunts like flexibility or strength tests onscreen!

Early life
When he was a kid. he went to school at the Opera Academy. Beside school he learned kung fu and wushu. Chan was born on 7 April.1954 in Hong Kong. Chan grew up poor. His dear parent’s Charles and Lee-Lee Chan who were refugees. Loaning money from friends and doing anything to make ends meet. He went to primary school at Nah-Hwa primary school. His parents withdrew him in 1960. When Charles went to Australia to work. Chan was sent to a peeking opera school. After years of martial arts training. Chan and two other friends had a martial arts performance group called “Three Brothers” or “Three Dragons”. In his early movie carrier, he was fortuned to train under master Jin Pal Kim. Training styles such as Hapkido, Karate, Judo, Taekwondo and Jeet Kune Do. Chan was recognized by a producer in Hong Kong for Chan’s amazing stunt work. This lead this his first leading role in “Hand of Death” 1976. It was a plan all along to make Chan perceived as a Bruce Lee role type. The breakthrough Chan was waiting for came in 1978’s “Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow”.
Private life
Chan has a son with Joan Lin. His sons name is Jaycee Chan. Jaycee is an actor and singer like his mom and dad. Chan got married to Joan Lin in 1982. Chan ran in to a huge scandal when having an affair and impregnated her. They got a daughter Etta Ng Chok Lam she was born in 1999. Jackie Chan enjoys football. He is supporting Manchester City.
